THE TABLE FELLOWSHIP SERIES

This study was created for anyone who wants to have a personal encounter with Jesus and learn more about their true identity in Him. Now, I know that's a bold statement, but we know that the scripture says if you "seek you shall find Him" and if you knock, "the door will be opened to you" (Matthew 7:7-8 NIV). Unfortunately, many of us lack the power of God in our lives because we don't understand our true identity in Jesus. Many of us are not operating out of the love of Christ, the foundation of who we are in Him. Some of us are harboring unforgiveness and we are stuck in our old ways. However, we have been reconciled (our relationship has been restored) to the most high God who died for all of our sins, and we are a new creation in Him. He sees us holy and pure and we are His heirs- his sons and daughters whom he delights in.

The kingdom of God is available to us now if we choose to access it. We must press in, persevere, and choose to focus on Him and not our circumstances. In all things we must remain steadfast, set apart, and not succumb to the culture and the world around us. I can honestly say that all of my encounters with Christ happened when I was intentional about spending time with Him. We must "seek" and prioritize our relationship with Jesus above all else. We are to know Christ, or "abide" in Him (1John 2: 5-6). He wants us to pursue Him because he desires to have an intimate relationship with us. He loves us and he wants us to experience the fullness of life. If you continue the endeavor of faithfully pursuing Him and spending time in His word, the bread of life will continuously nourish and sustain you.

This is not a "traditional" study. It's not simply about learning new material and answering questions at the end of each chapter (I promise, if you're type "A" like me, you won't be disappointed). The heart of this study lies in your discussions and in meditating on the truth of God's word. Some of the concepts in this study may be new to you, and that's OK. If one scripture leads you to another scripture, go down that rabbit hole and seek the revelation that God has for you. He will speak to you if you seek Him. I know Jesus will meet you where you're at on this journey, and I'm excited for you to learn from Him!
